AUDI'S STYLISH TAYCAN ALTERNATIVE IS MORE PORSCHE-LIKE THAN EVER

A couple of months ago, Audi revealed the new RS e-tron GT performance as its most powerful production car to date, and it arrived with several upgrades, both under the skin and aesthetically. The former alterations helped the EV achieve an astonishing 912 horsepower, and now it's time to further enhance the latter with a 299-unit special edition package that will be made available for all Audi Sport e-tron GT models, meaning the S e-tron GT, the RS e-tron GT, and the new RS e-tron GT performance.

  • 2025 Audi S e-tron GT
    Base Trim Horsepower 670 hp
Base Trim Battery Capacity 97 kWh
    0-60 MPH 3.4 sec
    Top Speed 152 mph
  • 2025 Audi RS e-Tron GT
    Base Trim Horsepower 844 hp
Base Trim Battery Capacity 97 kWh
    0-60 MPH 2.8 s
    Top Speed 155 mph

The e-tron GT is already a beauty, but this special edition stands out through a dark brown, gold, and gray hue called Arabica Gray, which draws inspiration from the popular Daytona Gray Pearl Effect. This is complemented by wheels in a new finish that mixes black, matte Neodymium Gold, and burnished silver. This wheel color was first seen on the RS6 Avant performance, but it suits this stylish EV just as well, if not better.

New Colors For The Cabin

The color scheme of the interior upholstery makes the second row look like a two-seater area, and it is composed of center panels, shoulder arches, and side bolsters in Mint Gray, contrasting with Mora Violet. Both of these are new colors for Audi and are complemented by eucalyptus wood inlays trimmed in anthracite, another first. There's no real leather in here, with Ingolstadt's designers instead opting for a mix of Cascade fabric, Dinamica microfiber suede, and Mono.pur 55 artificial leather with waterfall stitching.

These are the very best models at the intersection of performance and luxury.

Other highlights include door inserts with Audi exclusive badges, as well as color-matched speaker grilles, switch covers, seatbelts, steering wheel accents, and floor mats. Disappointingly, Audi has opted not to fit an embossed and serialized plaque or badge. Instead, each example of the limited edition will display its sequential number in the infotainment display. We'd prefer something physical, but there are benefits to the digitalization of the automobile, including color-coordinated ambient lighting and special graphics.

Individualization Options

Various customization packages are available, with the two-tone cabin available in other mixes that include black upholstery paired with either Alaska Blue, Calendula Yellow, Iguana Green, or Crimson Red accents and stitching. The chosen color appears on the air vent surrounds, stitching, and some leather accents. Alternatively, a mix of Cognac Brown Nappa leather and Jet Gray contrast stitching is far more understated and elegant.

Audi intends to expand its customization offerings with more colors and finishes and says that "traditional design elements will increasingly blend with virtual immersion in the future." As for this particular design exercise, Audi has not stated what the 299-unit special edition package costs, but considering how much focus is put on personalization, we suspect the most expensive models will approach the $200,000 mark.
